Outstanding Author Contribution Award

I am pleased to announce that the Emerald Outstanding Author Contribution Award for the best chapter in Volume 5 of Research on Emotion in Organizations goes to Jochen I. Menges and Heike Bruch for their chapter entitled, “Organizational emotional intelligence and performance: An empirical study” (pp. 183-212). Please join with me congratulating Jochen and Heike.

The Academy of Management is just now announcing its submission decisions for Montreal. We are aware that some of you may have good papers that might not have been accepted. In view of this, a decision has been taken to extend the Emonet conference submission deadline until March 31. We look forward to seeing your submissions in time to meet the new deadline. Note that there will be no further extensions, because the conference is now on a tight schedule.
